Expanding our international footprint and partnerships
Hi Friend of Mitico,
This spring Mitico International’s leadership engaged with global stakeholders at high-profile industry events in Asia and Europe. Ron Rogers, CEO of Mitico International, presented our solution at Cleantech Forum Asia in Singapore and Beyond Expo in Macau, introducing Mitico’s technology to new audiences in the Asian market.
Ros Davies, Mitico International’s Legal Advisor, participated in Tech4Regen and Hack Summit 2025 in Europe to share our vision and build relationships. To support our growing global activities, Mitico has also established a new affiliate: Mitico Canada Ltd. that will lead technology validation and commercialization in Canada.
These efforts and those highlighted below are strengthening Mitico’s international partnerships and visibility, helping position the group at the forefront of the global carbon capture conversation. By establishing a foothold in Europe and Asia and engaging with industry networks abroad, we are laying the groundwork for stronger collaborations and faster deployments of the Mitico technology. 🌎 🌍 🌏

Partner Spotlight: Snam’s HyAccelerator 🏭

Mitico’s progress and potential have earned international recognition. We have been selected as one of four finalists in Snam’s HyAccelerator “Net Zero Revolution” program, an accelerator initiative by Europe’s leading gas infrastructure company to fast-track clean energy innovations. Mitico is proud to be the only carbon capture company among the finalists. Over the summer, our team will collaborate with Snam and its partners in an intensive mentorship and development phase, refining our business and technology for European applications in alignment with net-zero goals of our partners.
Product Spotlight: Mitico Carbionik™ ⚗️

Our R&D and scale-up teams have been working hard over the past year to scale up our proprietary potassium carbonate-base solid sorbent integrated in the Mitico carbon capture process. Carbionik™ is the core of the Mitico technology: it acts as a “sponge for CO2” – although it does not squeeze. This granulated material has an ideal size and shape to allow CO2 and water vapor to selectively react from dilute flue gases and remove more than 95% of the CO2 from point source emitters.
Technology Spotlight: Successful FAT 👩🏭

Mitico’s core Centennial carbon capture system just cleared a major technical milestone. The fixed-bed reactor at the heart of our system successfully passed Factory Acceptance Testing, consistently capturing over 99% of CO₂ from simulated flue gases in both humid and dry conditions. Crucially, the presence of oxygen had no impact on capture efficiency, underscoring the robustness of our sorbent technology. With this validation complete, the unit is now finishing final assembly and will be shipped to Canada for independent testing with support from the Natural Gas Innovation Fund (NGIF). Natural Resources Canada (NRCan CanmetENERGY) researchers will put the system through its paces, providing third-party confirmation of its performance in real-world operating conditions.
What’s next?
- Summer/Fall 2025 Outreach: Mitico’s leadership and technical team will be active at several high-profile events in the coming months. In September, during Climate Week NYC, we’ve been invited to speak on a global innovation panel (hosted by Gener8tor) about next-generation carbon capture. We will also return to the Rice Alliance Energy Tech Venture Forum this fall to share updates since last year’s accelerator demo day. These venues are fantastic opportunities to showcase our pilot progress and connect with investors, industry stakeholders, and policymakers. If you’ll be at Climate Week in New York or the Houston Energy & Climate Week, we’d love to see you there and chat in person! 🎤
- Looking Ahead – Series A Preparation: As we validate our technology with the pilot, we are laying groundwork for our next fundraising round. Early 2026, Mitico intends to launch a Series A funding round to fuel the commercialization of our technology (scale-up of manufacturing and development of a commercial-scale demo plant – FOAK). We’ve been strengthening relationships with venture investors and strategic partners in anticipation. The momentum from our recent accelerator programs and pilot launch has generated interest that we hope to convert into growth capital. We will keep our community updated as those plans progress. 📈
