Granulated metal carbonates can provide a simple and cost-effective solution to point source carbon capture. Flexible by design, carbonates can be used in processes of various sizes and under variable flue gas conditions making them a strong candidate for gas-solid absorption and purification of carbon dioxide in concentrations as low as 4%.
